Corruption: Nobel Peace Prize 2009, among racks

The attribution of Nobel Peace Prize has led to a concert of praise from the leaders of the Atlantic alliance. But it also raises skepticism throughout the world. [1] This was the poignant story President of the United States told reporters as evidence that he never wanted that distinction and that was the first surprise. Without trying to find out more about the subject, journalists published headlines about "humility" the most powerful man in the world.
Indeed, no one knows what is more surprising: the award of this prestigious distinction for Barack Obama or accompanying grotesque farce, or perhaps the method used to taint the jury and divert the award of its original purpose.
First, we must remember that, according to the rules of the Nobel Committee, nominations are submitted by institutions (parliaments and political academies) and qualified for it, mainly judges and winners of that prize. Theoretically it is possible to submit an application without the candidate's knowledge. However, when the jury makes the decision is put directly in contact with the person to break the news an hour before the press conference. Was this the first time in history that the Nobel Committee violates this rule of courtesy. According to his spokesman, what happened is that the Nobel Committee did not dare to wake the president of the United States in the middle of the night. For 108 years, the Nobel Prize Committee has worked to spur the kind of international policy and action is the main spokesman for Obama "[11].
Meanwhile, the happy winner said: "I receive the Nobel Committee's decision with surprise and deep humility
(...) accept this reward as a call to action, calling on all countries to rise up to the common challenges of XXI century. " So this man "humble" sees himself as representative of "all countries". That's not parece augurar nada de paz.
