No other institution or organization that has spread across continents and centuries that the Christian Church.
His story, which for many is unknown, is dramatic. The bloodshed and peace, corruption and poverty are just some of the elements that make it a wonderful story that every Christian should understand and manage well.
This time I want to offer a series of articles dealing with the history of the Church. Hoping that they not only serve as information to accumulate in the head, but as evidence that through the centuries, God has always been to his church and has helped her succeed as it will today.
Our journey through the history of the Church we will study the six periods of her:
- The Apostolic Church (30-100 AD)
- The Persecuted Church (100-313 AD)
- imperial church (313-476 AD)
- The medieval church (476-1453 AD)
- The Reformed Church (1453-1648 AD)
- The modern church (1649 ...)
The information will be drawing mainly from the book "HISTORY OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH" by Hurlbut. However, my intention is not merely leave information, but each time get some valuable lessons for our present church. No comparison, not wanting to look like the current church to church in the past, but noted that the church did so yesterday projecting to the challenges that the church has today.
